The lives of very different people intertwine in unexpected ways; Morgan and Rebekah, are now alone, fleeing the suddenly zombie-filled streets of Virginia Beach. Flynn struggles to keep his small group of five alive; Nadene and her three-year-old daughter Ashlyn, Larry the poetic comedian, and Makayla, the former high school student. Fate puts them together - total strangers - and before the day is done, they have become more than just friends and allies-they are bonded as tightly as any people who have been to war together; Once known, they will do whatever they can to keep each other alive. Run, fight, pick each other up when they stumble, maybe they'll even fall in love. But as they travel down the desolate road, they realize that there may be a deeper meaning behind this sudden apocalypse that no one considered. This is a Zombie Apocalypse AU. ______________________________________ Tara Carpenter loved Amber Freeman. Amber Freeman loved Tara Carpenter. They were childhood best friends, practically attached at the hip. Then, in late 2015, when they were 11, Amber went missing. Everyone looked practically everywhere they could think of, but Amber was never seen again. Her parents didn't seem to care, however. Four years later, in 2019, the apocalypse occurred around what would have been Amber's sophomore year of high school. She would have been 15, just like Tara and most of the others their age. It's now 2023, meaning it's been four years since the apocalypse started and almost a decade since Amber disappeared. The world isn't exactly "safe" anymore; it never truly was, anyway. There are still survivors here and there, but not many, as around a third of humanity has fallen (either killed or turned, usually both). The government, despite its best attempts to control what had happened, fell as well. It was long overdue. Amber is very much "alive". When she went "missing", it turned out her parents had sold her to a lab, and she was turned, in a way. Given that she seems mostly turned, she can easily appear to be completely gone, but she's not. She's still in there. However, it's hard to speak for her due to the infection in her veins, but she's for the most part okay. She wanders around now, often with hordes of fully turned zombies, traveling the devastated world. She has been almost everywhere, in terms of cities and locations. Eventually, she stumbles upon Woodsboro again and finds a few people she thought she'd never see again. And maybe, just maybe, they can help her become human again.Complete

A virus spread throughout the whole world without anyone realizing until it was too late. People were turning into zombies, flesh-eating human corpses. The government desperate for salvation opened its hidden bunkers. Some fled to other countries for a higher chance of safety. Some died on the way to those said bunkers. Some turned to those creatures they were running from. Those who are lucky and rich enough to enter the bunkers are now momentarily safe and hidden wherever those bunkers are. But it's only a matter of time before those bunkers break. While many were left outside, fighting for their lives and trying to survive, they were sleeping in comfort inside those metal havens. Unbeknownst to those who were safely enjoying themselves inside, there was something more outside, waiting for the bunkers to open. Ziya, who wanted to find her sisters, started to travel. At first, she was alone until a few people found her and became her companions while traveling the dangerous highways. How they manage to trust her despite being aloof, she doesn't know. But they knew she was a great help to them. With her unnatural instinct and calmness while fighting the zombies despite being half blind she was pretty useful to let her go. They kept asking other questions but eventually stopped when they realised they won't receive answers anytime soon. They were just letting her join them because she's useful and they felt guilty leaving her alone. To her defense, she doesn't trust them, and she doesn't want them to trust her. She thinks they're a bit stupid for letting her join but staying quiet about it. She just wanted to stay alive and find her sisters.
