The stench can be smelt throughout the whole under ground base. The smell of garbage, sweat, blood, death, and hopelessness.
The city above this revolting setting is covered in lost souls. As the dead were brought back in human form, the demons within were released as well. 'True Form' shall be the description for these creatures. No living in sight for miles and miles.
The dead now feed on helpless animals, big and small. For its main course has been devouered as a whole. Demons, on another hand, have grown bored with animals and have chosen to feed on the dead.
Nearly impossible, surviving this (What used to be called) Earth, there still lies two good spirits on Earth.
Shall there be and two Adams? Two Eves? No. For its one Adam and one Eve left. Brother and sister they may be, but one job is left for them to do. That one job is something both of the shall find out together.
Yet, the future can change. It may not be as happy of an ending any human being would expect from any other romantic novel. Then again, who said this was a romance....

The year is 1964, but the surface has not felt human footsteps for nearly half a century. Humanity crawled underground, carving vast tunnel networks and cavern-cities in the bones of the earth. Here, in the damp dark, people breathe recycled air, eat fungus grown from the dead, and drink from seeping cracks in ancient stone. The tunnels are endless, a maze of bunkers, collapsed mines, and fortresses built into the rock. The deeper one goes, the easier it is to forget the surface ever existed. War never ended-it just changed battlefields. Two factions, trapped in their endless conflict, send wave after wave of soldiers to die in the tunnels. The Golden Empire A militaristic theocracy that foolishly believes that God has not yet mankind. Their soldiers march in formation, clad in gold-plated armor, chanting hymns as they die for a war they cannot win. The Royal Nation A fractured, industrial war machine, where duty replaces faith. They ration food, force conscription, and manufacture war endlessly. Their soldiers wear hate on their sleeves, marching toward death with polished bayonets. Neither side will surrender. You Were Always a Daydreamer Draft Version
When you're forced to mask Reality with Fantasy. The lifted layers finally unveil the tombstone of self. The biggest cities into the tiniest pebbles The massive ideas and thoughts formed into merely something to fear. A protagonist who already forgot his name Remembers He is a Daydreamer. Which is the only way to cope with life after multiple tragedies. And the fraud on fake friends faces. Only to daydream. As losing touch takes a toll on that rotting indulgence slowly. This get's quite horrific as it goes on. It's not to enjoy but to reflect on and experience. I decided to publish the draft version, because I don't think I can fully finish YWAADD final edition any time soon. I am in the worst mental and emotional state ever. It's quite a struggle and I suffer heavily. So yeah, the polished draft kind of holds up aswell too. The final one is way longer and eventful. So, um yeah I don't expect this to get attention at all, it's kind of really mid in some parts. But enjoy, or don't I guess. Yes this was inspired by Everywhere At The End Of Time.
