Negan had one love: Lucille.
Lucille had one doctor: Anna.
Anna only had a few people: Her patients.
And Anna would do anything for them.
Sometimes we don't know why we do the things that we do. Everyone has a different reason for making the decisions they make. For Lucille it is for the future. And for Negan it is for his guilt. Lucille had seen this in Negan before she had died and she had already picked a path for him to take. Negan was not hesitant to take it, by no means. But when the world turns to shit, he really has no other choice then to make his own path. No more Lucille. No more Doctor. No more Healing. No more Angels.

Charlie Whelan was a badass before the world went to shit. She was a body guard for the elite so when the world went to shit she found her way to Alexandria. She was a runner for the group going to get supplies and bring them back. After Negan kills Glenn and Abe everything changed. She would meet Negan's group for trade and what not.
