12-year-old Sang Sorenson thinks she's nothing special. Even when she gets accepted to some fancy boarding school for the gifted called Grayson Academy, she still thinks it's some ploy for her family to get rid of her. But once she gets there, she realizes that this Academy isn't just for the gifted, it's for the broken. More specifically, for the broken who want to keep others from being broken. Here, Sang is given a choice: give up and go home to the meager life she had, or stay and become something great. However, Sang has trouble blending in, and worries she'll never find her new family. With a very rare status, and nine distracting boys, she's truly got her work cut out for her. Will she ever find a home?

"You're different from what I expected," she said softly. "How so?" he asked, glancing at her. "I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare." He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that." OR Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
