Its curious how our paths cross. Paths being not just literal roads with milestones telling us exactly where we are, but sections our life that we build out from the tarmac of our decisions; where expecting milestones is like hoping for your mom to give you cookies before dinner.
It just wont happen.
Sometimes in our bid to find where we are we tend to change the paths we walked on for the better or for the worse.
I myself was a simpleton trying to map my location on this small speck of a cosmos when i met her. She had no roads. No destinations. Nowhere she wanted to be. Everything she wanted to be. She was and wasn't all at once. She was Isabella Jean Carter.
And this is the story of how she became immortal.

A Photographer's Viewpoint
Isabella enjoys her life of being single and lives lavishly every passing day. She has absolutely no interest in dating and already devoted her future to be a full-on crazy cat lady. But, her mother desperately tries to convince her to marry by making her attend gatherings in order to find a husband. Of course, Isabella finds no interest in them and always ends up sitting in silence when attending these said gatherings. On a particular morning, she receives a phonecall from her co-worker that she had been invited to their wedding. At first, she was reluctant on going but decided to get a change of scenery and went anyway. There, she meets one of the photographers. A perculiar one at that who seemed to take an interest in Isabella and was adament on wanting to take pictures of her. _______________ "Let me take pictures of you." She states with determination etched in her voice. "What?" I wasn't sure if I was overthinking, but it was like there was some kind of hope that lingered in her eyes. What confused me was as to why she wanted to take pictures of me specifically. I mean, there's alot more attractive people around us at the moment and they seemed far more appealing then I do. It's the little things that count. The little things that pass by without our notice. The little things that pile up quietly, slowly, and before you know it, everything changes. Call it providence, or coincidence, or just plain good ol' luck that their paths managed to cross again after so many years. Whatever the case may be, she was grateful for it, because without meaning to, she managed to rekindle a flame she had long thought to be extinguished. She found her way home to him, and likewise, he found her way home to her. She had found her Catchy again. I looked down at my freshly painted acrylic nails. My heart was racing and my palms were sweating. Although I was having a good time. It was time for me to get out with it.
