Ever since her mom died, Max Tanner had been left alone with your abusive and rapist dad. Every night he would come home, clearly drunk, and take her by force. She kept walls up at school, never spoke to anyone, never let anyone catch onto what happens at home. But once school starts and Max gets a chance to meet her heroes, she realizes that they're still people, they can still do harm. But Andy seems different. It's weird, she's never felt like this before. Can they keep their complicated relationship together long enough to get through everything?
