Since the beginning of time their has been God and his angels. Seven angels: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Selaphiel, Raguel/Jegudiel, and Barachiel. What most people don't know is that there was one more angel. God's favorite, Jackson, is the forgotten angel.
Jackson was quite the troublesome young man and often disobeyed God. He would spend time fooling around with mortals on Earth and spreading bad news to all. Finally God had reached his limit, and banished Jackson to the underworld where he was dammed to rule over the sinner's souls for all eternity.
At first, Jackson saw this as a good thing, but soon after he realized that this gave him another reason to hate God. He could no longer do the things he wanted as often as he pleased. He was allowed to go to Earth, but only for short amounts of time to collect souls and punish the dammed.
But when Jackson finally finds himself someone to love, what will happen? Will this fallen angel finally be able to have a shred of happiness?

A World Like That
Earth is a paradise by day and a wasteland at night. Angels and demons visit during daytime but don't coexist peacefully, at least not until Ariel and Dante meet. After Dante torments Ariel, the two begin an unlikely friendship. Dante is a demon who feels out of place in Hell. His father Lucifer is hard on him, and he spends every second he can on Earth. He wants something different, and Ariel is different. Although demons can't love, what he feels for Ariel seems a lot like love. In this angel/demon romance, God is a woman and all the characters in Heaven and Hell love whoever they want. Some characters and settings were inspired by real demons or angels, or by mythology.Complete
