Sara Blackwell, a 15 year old girl who loves drawing is being sent, or what she calls forced, to an art camp. Her father thinks it would bring her happiness to the sad time she's going through with her mother getting cancer. "It will be fine Sara! I'm sure you'll love it!" Sara's father said pulling into the parking lot to drop her off. "Its only for 9 weeks! Not that long." "Yay, glad to have my summer wasted" Sara sarcastically mumbled. But little did she know, she would have the best summer of her life...and discovers a hidden ability that can alter time...

"I will wait for you all summer and every summer after if I have to." Competitive surfer, Kenna Calvin has one last summer in Channel Islands, California. Between her horrible family and the constant obstacles she faces with people from her past, Kenna is willing to take any distraction she can. Though, the last thing Kenna Calvin wants is to settle down and get into a relationship. Kenna can't even correctly describe the word "Love" given her broken home, and she has no desire to anyways. Surf Shop owner, Wes Carter's main focus this summer is to maintain his Dads' Surf Shop, unable to uphold any distractions. But Wes finds it difficult to stay focused when all he can think about is the girl who he keeps running into. Wes is well aware that Kenna doesn't want to settle down, Wes is also aware he wants Kenna to be able to describe the word "Love" and he wants to be the reason she can.
