Ashling O'Connor only has three things she lives by at the age of sixteen,

One, survive high school because it is a living hell.

Two, try to win Daniel's heart because they are destined to be together.

Three, ignore the voices. They aren't real.

One day Ashling bumps into Colm. The boy with midnight hair and forest eyes, who has told Ashling that the voices she is hearing are very real, and very dead. After being told that she is a seer, one who can see and speak to spirits just like himself she has to be trained with his family and prepare for a brewing war (Oh, she's also the chosen one... Whatever that means). Being thrust into a world of spirits and necromancy-the evil ones who control the dead-Ashling is faced with many tough decisions.

What will happen when Colm figures out she is a necromancer and not a seer like they all thought?

Why can't she fall in love with the boy with midnight hair and forest eyes?

What happens when the war is brought to her doorstep and everyone she loves ends up being in serious danger?

What about Daniel...?

His Unexpected: A Demon Romance (COMPLETE) by Bailey-Elizabeth
30 parts Complete Mature
"Why have you been avoiding me?" I asked breathlessly. Ash lifted his free hand to his mouth and ripped the glove from it with his teeth, before placing his warm palm to my exposed back and pulling me flush against him. My fingertips flitted over his chest to lightly brush the exposed skin near his collar, and he hummed in approval. "Because," Ash said, leaning in to brush his nose and lips across my cheek. "You look devastatingly beautiful in red, and I promised I wouldn't push you." My eyelids fluttered shut as he spoke, and a tremble rattled through my limbs. "Ash, please," I exhaled, the draw I felt to him undeniable as we stood chest to chest, and I felt his lips brush over mine once. A kiss as soft as butterfly wings, but enough to make me burn. "Tell me to stop, Blaise," he rasped as he held himself a hair's distance away. "I don't want you to." --- Blaise Aoide didn't think demons were real, and she certainly didn't expect them to run the world's underground crime syndicate, the Decagon. But when her father trades her to notorious billionaire and supermodel, Ash Augustine, for a seat at the table, she discovers that beneath the world she knew lies the paranormal, and that she herself might be more than human. Ash Augustine isn't just one of the richest, most powerful men on the planet. Beneath his model exterior lies a secret-- a dark secret that's kept his family brewery thriving for centuries. But both he and the beast sharing his soul find themselves thrown off balance when a lowly mob boss presents his unruly daughter as the token in a trade. Now, Ash must face not only the woman living in his home, but the implications of falling in love with a mortal while sharing a body with the damned. --- COMPLETE plus bonus chapters of the next books.
Grim Echoes by ryanahunter
94 parts Complete Mature
Maeve's ability to touch others' souls can be heartbreaking and confusing, but when she connects with two murderers, it turns her world upside down. Are they still killers if they only kill monsters? What starts as a random attack on the street stopped by two strangers quickly escalates as Maeve discovers her attackers were demons. Thrusting her into their violent world, Maeve struggles to hold on to her humanity, making choices she never believed she would have to make. Disturbed but drawn to each of them. Will's bestial nature calls to her one moment and rejects her the next. While a powerful attachment to Ander's gentle soul comforts her, but every time they connect, she feels his darkness just below the surface. Will's entire life has been a war against monsters, alongside his best-friend Ander. Honor bound by duty, he is brutal, relentless, and uncompromising in his mission to protect the masses. He didn't understand how much his world would change after saving Maeve, or how she would shatter his convictions. Ander may have magical talents but in his mind, nothing will redeem him from the abomination he is. Bound by more than shed blood, Will, his adopted brother, and only friend. Together they seek and destroy aberrations that poison the world. Until Maeve touched his hand, there was nothing else but the mission. With her, Ander could see a different side of himself, a different life. This is a character driven story written from the 3 main characters POV's. It's a mature adult dark romance & contains dubious triggering situations that some might find offensive. If you want an instant, fearless heroine, Maeve won't be it. Her story is discovering who she is & what power love can bring versus kicking monsters asses. Power & money aren't the only things that make the world turn & those that wield the greatest power control destiny. If you're looking for heroes, Will & Ander are NOT it. If you're drawn to tortured villainous souls, you'll enjoy their saga.
