Emma Mason's past month has been strange. First the eyes and calls from the shadows. Then the strangers staring at her as she made her way about the city. All she wants is life to finally go back to normal instead of unnerving.
Then she finds out it's her who's abnormal.
Descended from the disowned child of one of five families, who hold relics of Wardens who maintain balance in the world, she's the last of her line.
It is her duty to restore the balance that has been askew for over a century, to destroy the evil that has grown in her Warden's absence.
She must've drawn the short straw somewhere.
