As a writer, once in a while I need to just take a break from the big works I have. So I decided it'd be a good idea to take a detour and just write some poems and short stories as a way to clear the pallet and refresh my mind. I've decided to put them here for your enjoyment. And, if your bored it's the quick and easy fixer. If you don't like one story or poem, you never know if you'll like the next because each new entry could be totally different. It might be a scrambled mix of thoughts, but maybe you'll find something you like. So, take a detour with me and enjoy.All Rights Reserved

A mixed bag, next handful a whole new ball game. This collection of poems was born from Sunday drives with parents as a kid and doing the same with my son. It's fun to listen to our favourite music and watch the scenery fly by. As a teenager and young adult however the side road was a place my friends and I could escape the mundanity of life and say things to each other we wouldn't say in public. I guess what I'm saying is everything I post in this collective are pieces that don't fit anywhere else, sort of a catch all anthology if you will. So please don't be shocked if the poems in this chapter are a little more out to lunch maybe even devious.

I'm posting this looking for some feedback. Any constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated. Writing has always provided me with solace, by helping me to sort through and frame my emotional experience. During one of the more difficult times in my life--recognizing a toxic marriage and leaving--I used writing to understand what was happening. The poems, short stories, and essays here reflect my fragmented journey toward mental health. Works of art, they are not. However, I hope they can help others with their own journeys, even if only to provide comfort in knowing that they are not alone. This used to be just some old poetry I would come up with, but I find myself finding random urges to write only one page stories from ideas that just come to me randomly, or I have dreams I find interesting and write them down, so I'm deciding to put them here, there will be some poetry still, just not as often.

So these are just sad endings I came up with. If you want you can listen to sad music, but Idk if they'll be good, because I'm writing them. Lol hope you enjoy them. Some will be short and other's will be long. Decided to finish this because I'm focusing more on writing better books and don't want to write anymore sad endings.
