Captured the Enemy

Commotion was all around the pack house. Snow was piled outside, the temperature freezing. Meanwhile inside of the walls of the well put together pack house, was a frantic Alpha Christopher, and a very pregnant Luna Esmeralda.
Today was the day, the day they met their beautiful pup.
On that day, Elaina Elizabeth Slade was born. On that day, both Esmeralda and Christopher vowed to protect their pup.
Little did they know, she would have a tough future. But, what's life without a little challenge.

Colored leaves covered the ground of the Crescent Moon pack grounds. Luna Esmeralda, in her very pregnant form, looked frantically outside for a 12 year old Elaina.
Elaina was enraged with the concepts her father laid upon her of what would happen once she turned 18. There was no way she would spend her days looking for a mate just to rule the pack with and have offsprings. She was too young to be thinking about that. So she ran. Ran into the woods, tripping over branches and tree roots.
Elaina came to a stop. She hit something, something hard. She looked up, she did the only thing that came to mind, she screamed.
Esmeralda darted towards the scream as fast as her pregnant form could. There she was, there in front of Esmeralda was her daughter. Her terrified daughter.
She grabbed Elaina and put her behind her, whispering to run home and get help. But, help was too late.

Six years later, eighteen year old Elaina stood, protecting the pack, risking her life in place of her father who was too distracted. If only her mother could save her now.
