Thorn is a run down city in the midst of a thriving society of the unknown. Unknown, only to those who were not chosen to enter. People who were overlooked, thrown away, and forgotten. People like Mo.

Mo has no one. On the streets of Thorn, Mo stays to herself, surviving by herself and never asking for the help of others. She has rules and the most important is: Trust No One, for she knows all too well the stab of betrayal when you do not follow that one basic rule. However, something strange is happening around her and maybe being alone isn't what's best. After all, she's survived way too long to give up now.

"Mo, I don't think you understand!"

"Understand what?!" Mo screamed. Honestly she was tired and the last thing she wanted to do was understand a bunch of strangers talk about some society she wanted nothing to do with.

"You were never meant to be here, you've always been one of us and we always bring people like us home."

"Get out."

In a small, seemingly ordinary town, Selene has always felt like she's just another face in the crowd. Her life revolves around the typical high school experiences-hanging out with friends, navigating the ups and downs of teenage life, and managing the constant buzz of schoolwork and daily routines. To the outside world, it's a life like any other, filled with the usual moments of frustration and joy. Yet, beneath the surface of this mundane existence lies a hidden world, one that Selene never could have imagined. Magic, mystical creatures, and ancient forces have quietly coexisted with her reality, just out of sight. It's a world governed by secrets, where the extraordinary is concealed by the normal. When Selene's life unexpectedly takes a turn, she is drawn to Eldermyst Academy, an ancient, secluded institution that holds the key to her true potential. The academy is a place far removed from her small-town life, a place where the supernatural is a part of everyday existence. Here, Selene begins to uncover her own latent powers, powers that have been dormant for years. The stark contrast between her once predictable world and the strange, mystical realm she enters becomes the foundation for her transformation. As she explores secret locations, encounters creatures beyond imagination, and navigates the complexities of magical realms, Selene begins to realize that her journey isn't just about surviving the chaos of two worlds colliding-it's about mastering the forces within herself, understanding the legacy that runs through her veins, and coming to terms with the power she holds. Each challenge she faces, each discovery she makes, takes her further away from the life she knew, and closer to a destiny that was always waiting for her.

There is a force older than time itself, flowing unseen through the land, the skies, and the souls of those who walk this world. Some call it magic. Others, destiny. But in Elyra, power is not merely taken-it is earned, stolen, fought for, and sometimes... cursed upon the unworthy. The continent stretches endlessly, its lands carved by ancient wars and civilizations lost to history. Ruined cities stand as silent witnesses to battles long forgotten, their stone walls whispering secrets only the daring seek to uncover. Deep within the mountains, martial artists forge their bodies into weapons beyond human comprehension, their strikes capable of shattering steel. In the grand halls of scholars, mages bend the laws of reality, weaving spells that twist the very fabric of existence. Some claim magic is boundless, limitless in potential... but those who reach too far often find themselves consumed by forces they cannot control. But for every force that builds, another seeks to destroy. Beneath the surface, fire rages in an endless inferno, a realm where even the bravest fear to tread. High above, unseen hands pull at the strings of fate, shifting the balance of the world with every whisper. And hidden within sealed chambers, beings older than the stars slumber, their names long erased from mortal tongues. Legends speak of a kingdom that once ruled everything, a kingdom that no longer exists. Some say it was consumed by its own greed, others whisper of a power too great for the world to bear. Yet remnants remain-artifacts, symbols, fractured pieces of a puzzle scattered across the land, waiting for those foolish or ambitious enough to seek them. The air is shifting. The world stirs. Something is waking up. And when it does, Elyra will never be the same.

Admittedly, this is kind of a Draco x OC fanfic, but two things. One, I don't want to focus solely on their romance. I want their relationship to grow naturally as possible. Two, I want to give my OC development and her own story. Which is why you see this. Btw, you can read this as a Y/N fanfic if you want or like, it doesn't matter that much to me. I just hope you enjoy and give criticism in a professional manner or just by leaving a funny comment. Thank you for reading! β›Λ“β—žΛ‚Μ΅
