And because of that pact, our village is protected for the next year, under the demon's watchful eyes. No one knows what happens to those who the demon chooses, but there's a lot of theories about it. One is that the demon eats or absorbs those who are chosen - another, that it kills them. But this year, I'm the one who's chosen. I get to meet the demon I've feared since I was a child, and now that I'm 24, and am considered an adult, I could have left the village behind. But I didn't. You watched the movie in about three different theaters on opening night, rushing to get to each one on time. You loved the book, and the movie was actually quite good. As you can imagine, you bought the CD for the movie once it was released and kept watching it over and over, mostly to find the hidden Easter eggs. But when your mom catches you watching it for the eleventh time in one day, she triggers a series of events that no one could see coming. "I wish I was in their world instead..." "Careful what you wish for." "You want to float, don't you, {Y/N}?" "You'll float too." --- Characters are aged up to 15/16!
