Cara: Gaelic for friends of a strong connection, is a coven of 12 witches; all students of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. A diverse, multicultural coven; some from over seas, some within the USA; mostly pure blooded witches that follow the Wiccan faith. All seemed well when the 12th member was initiated into the coven but things go wrong. The 12th member, Adrian, only one of the circle who didn't seem to have a magic background, but his power grows at an incredible rate; faster than any witch has ever. Coven leaders: Vida, Caleb, and Katrina learn that something is not right with him, as his magic grows stronger so does the darkness in his heart. Can Adrian resist the temptations of dark magic and keep his heart pure?
