Elena Hills wanted so badly to return home sometimes. She wanted to be there, sitting on her bed, awaiting that day he came to visit his family. The day she would greet him with a smile and a hug and show him the love he missed out on when he didn't bother to return. But then she realized no one would be waiting for her to return. No one would give her a smile and least of all a hug. She would be greeted with empty rooms, and empty, unoccupied beds. She realized she was all on her own. She realized she preferred it this way. She didn't know how or when she would find herself back home. Elena liked to think that fate would decide when her expedition ends and that it would bring her towards wherever home is.
