Riley Knight thinks with her brain. This is her final year at Griffin High, and she is ready to be off to Syracuse playing lacrosse as soon as possible. This year is to focus solely on lacrosse and school work, even though she's the captain of the lacrosse team and the president of the student body. Four months into the year and everything is going smoothly until the soccer teams field is ripped apart by a bulldozer, and they are forced to use the boys lacrosse field for the time being. As things go, the boys have to use the girls field to practice causing the girls to have to share their practice time. Riley struggles finding time for her team to practice especially since the captain, Fox Gray, is an equally athletic, smart, intimidating jock. Also, the boy she taught herself to hate. Fox lives across the street from her, and they've hated each other ever since they were in kindergarten. However, as time goes on will riley learn to think with her heart and not her head?
