"Some say the world shall end in fire; some say in ice..."

Lyrica's world is quickly ending, being consumed by the ravaging flames of haunting memories and vengeful enemies. Her world has revolved around her family and proving her worth, but it's never enough. In an attempt to make her father notice her, she joins him on a trip where they are ambushed and Lyrica is taken captive.

This begins her battle against becoming a pawn; she refuses to play their game. She is through with being used and traded as property. But when she is given a chance to prove herself, her beliefs wage war with her goals. What was right is no longer white in a world of grey wrongs. How can she know which way to turn at a crossroads? Is it still in her best interest to stand independent and alone? Will her strength and determination withstand the onslaught of lies and loopholes? Or will she crumble under the pressure and watch her plans burn to ashes?

"...From what I've tasted of desire, I hold with those who favor fire."

Hero against hero. Friend against friend. Lover against lover. United we stand. Divided we fall. The world has suffered from the fallout of vigilantes for too long - the Battle of New York, the Fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., the Sokovia Incident. Too many have lost their lives, their homes, and their humanity. Too many have been caught in the crossfire of "heroes" doing their jobs. So long so that the American government has struck back with a weapon deadlier than any gun or blade: The Sokovia Accords, a document so controversial that a canyon of discord has divided the Avengers. And now their most valued player must choose a side. Lady of Time and Avenger Andi is caught in the middle of a fight she could not prevent from coming to pass. And now the time has come to choose a side: to ally with a man of morality, who wishes to save the lives of many over one by surrendering his right to choose; or the man of freedom, who is willing to sacrifice everything to save the life of a close friend, and is not willing to hand over his independence lightly. Andi must decide who to fight for, even if that means losing the closest man she holds dear to her heart. She must choose what matters most: life or love. Or fall with the mighty. Action-packed and heart-stopping, the fourth and final instalment of the Time Walker tetralogy will leave you on the edge of your seat rooting for your favourite Time Walker. Will she survive? Only time will tell. ★ Based on Captain America: Civil War ★ ★ Book 4 of the Time Walker tetralogy ★ || Absolutely gorgeous cover by the wonderful @-verdant- ||

Retreat. That word was not in my vocabulary, but it was the only thing we could do. If not, the Avengers would be lying dead on the grass behind the White House. Loki would televise it and reign terror upon the world. We weren't going to give up. Not now. There was too much at stake. The weight of the world sat on our shoulders. We determined the future. We just needed more heroes. A trip to my childhood home had been long overdue, but I didn't want it to be because of a war. Xavier's School for the Gifted gave young mutants a place to go when they were shunned. It gave them a future. The Avengers and the X-Men had to keep that future alive by taking Loki and his team of villains down, even if it meant laying down our own lives for millions of others. Loki thinks he's won, but the war isn't over yet. Book 3 of 3 *I do not own any of the characters except for the main one, the little girl, and some villains. The story line is my own work. Please read and enjoy! :D *Cover by the wonderful @-verdant-!
