Can you really change a life in one day? I mean a lot happens in one day... It could be a good day that made someone smile for the first time in awhile. Or it could be a bad day and the light was snuffed out of someone filled with hope. The only thing we know is certain is that we can't trust anybody. Someone will always give us a reason to keep our guard up. Emily Jones is your very average book worm who does anything she's told to do. She keeps to herself in the hallways and never makes eye contact with anybody. Nobody is as shy as her. If you ever do notice her, which isn't much, her face is buried in a book. Meet Michael James. He is also a shy young looking kind of guy. Although, Michael has friends he hangs out with all the time. One thing is for sure. You'll never see him with a girl wrapped around his fingers. That was also the day I realized something else. They were all around me in the crevices, places I wouldn't even think to expect of, people I hadn't realized were any different. I can tell
I'm different, I can read and see what people think. Every moment of everyday... it's not normal. I've been this way for too long. Ever since I saw my best friends dad die in front of my own two, once blue eyes. My now gold orbs, seeing the world for what it actually is.
