Cooper's favorite day of the year could be ruined by a random encounter in a parking lot. How far will you go to protect the thing you love?

This is a short story exercise from my writing group to write about someone who was a "devoted fan". I decided to create someone who was a fan of something a little more unusual than a singer or celebrity. It's a bit odd, but I hope you like it.
