A novella set in Chicago during the 1990s, pre-Internet, pre-smart phones, "The Seduction of Perry," a work of pure fiction, is about the almost lost world and culture of books, and how books shape us, inform our thinking, and become part of our most secret, intimate feelings and desires. It is also a parable about evil in our environment, how it seduces us with its strange "normalcy," and often unnoticeable presence.

The Demon's Gift

16 parts Complete Mature

A group of demon hunters resides in St. Louis, Missouri, caught in the midst of chaos. Everyday, people are making deals with demons in exchange for something--money, gifts, health. What they often don't realize is that they're living on borrowed time, and the clock is ticking. Once it runs out, their souls are taken into hell, leaving their bodies open for use by the demons they once trusted. As autumn comes to a close on winter, the amount of deals in the city increases, and then drops abruptly, leaving Auden and his group of hunters mystified. Is there a reasoning behind the occurrence, or is the information being gathered false? What is coming, if not the war Auden is expecting?
