A novella set in Chicago during the 1990s, pre-Internet, pre-smart phones, "The Seduction of Perry," a work of pure fiction, is about the almost lost world and culture of books, and how books shape us, inform our thinking, and become part of our most secret, intimate feelings and desires. It is also a parable about evil in our environment, how it seduces us with its strange "normalcy," and often unnoticeable presence.

In a small, seemingly ordinary town, Selene has always felt like she's just another face in the crowd. Her life revolves around the typical high school experiences-hanging out with friends, navigating the ups and downs of teenage life, and managing the constant buzz of schoolwork and daily routines. To the outside world, it's a life like any other, filled with the usual moments of frustration and joy. Yet, beneath the surface of this mundane existence lies a hidden world, one that Selene never could have imagined. Magic, mystical creatures, and ancient forces have quietly coexisted with her reality, just out of sight. It's a world governed by secrets, where the extraordinary is concealed by the normal. When Selene's life unexpectedly takes a turn, she is drawn to Eldermyst Academy, an ancient, secluded institution that holds the key to her true potential. The academy is a place far removed from her small-town life, a place where the supernatural is a part of everyday existence. Here, Selene begins to uncover her own latent powers, powers that have been dormant for years. The stark contrast between her once predictable world and the strange, mystical realm she enters becomes the foundation for her transformation. As she explores secret locations, encounters creatures beyond imagination, and navigates the complexities of magical realms, Selene begins to realize that her journey isn't just about surviving the chaos of two worlds colliding-it's about mastering the forces within herself, understanding the legacy that runs through her veins, and coming to terms with the power she holds. Each challenge she faces, each discovery she makes, takes her further away from the life she knew, and closer to a destiny that was always waiting for her.

You awaken as a vampire with no memory of your past life - what's your next move? Eleanor nearly kills, but is stopped by William Bloom, a centuries-old vampire who offers her shelter in an ancient Virginia manor. There, among the enigmatic Bloom coven-Pierre, the wise patriarch and his haunting wife; a boy whose turning defies explanation; and three identical sisters bound by a secret power-Eleanor begins to navigate her new world. But darker questions soon emerge. Could every great upheaval in human history-from the Salem Witch Trials to Tik Tok-have been shaped by an unseen vampiric elite? Is her turning connected to the sudden vanishings of covens across the globe? To illuminate her past, she must unravel the secrets of her present, or let darkness consume her completely. **************** "I don't think you want him," he said. "Not really." "You don't?" she whispered. "No," he replied, his breath warm against her ear. Then, almost imperceptibly, his lips brushed against her skin. "It's me you want."
