Presley Jones is, within his right, what most would describe as the gay lovechild of Debbie Downer and Negative Nancy.  He's been to six (seven) high school's in less then four years and when he finds himself at a seventh (eight, he'd say, since technicalities matter to him) he just wants to lay low and age out of the foster care system with whatever dignity he has left. 
  
  Enter Jude McLaughlin and a rag-tag group of activist friends and siblings, and throw in a highly sensationalized contested election cycle, a newly formed republican club at school, a school, and city wide political revolution, a love story or two, and Presley might just get a new perspective on life. 
  
  But that doesn't mean he's going to like it.
