The bleak December wind no longer stung my cheek, but instead warmed me with a deadening embrace. The same senselessness I've been trying to become. Sitting on the frigid slide that pointed towards the woods I noticed a slight change in the distance. Looking past the unloved trees I could clearly see the shocking contrast on the clear canvas I was so prone to. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it also saved my life. Aubrey witnesses the death of her loved ones die and an evil spirit takes over her, sending Aubrey on an adventure of torment all so she can get revenge.

"Don't you know it's bad to underestimate Vampires sweetie?" Ethan snarled "Ready?" I hear Grayson and my eyes drifted towards him "5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Run!" "Sorry Satan" I whisper emerging into the woods "but you're mad if you think I'm dying today"
