Gabriella

Gabriella is a young teenage girl, who had no choice other than to live with her mom after her parents spilt-a spilt that she never fully accepted. A year hasn't passed and her mom, Amelia, has already found a new man who is wealthy and well respected but behind closed doors he is a wicked drunk.

"Mom I know dad didn't have half as much money as Charles did but I didn't think you were unhappy. Did you even think about me? Did you ever think how I'd feel about all of this? What do you even like about Charles whatever his name is?" I asked but as every other day, mom is too preoccupied by her work to even listen to what I have to say but I've had enough.

The bruises around her neck are barely being covered by her concealer and I sure as hell know that she's aware that he tries to get under my sheets, thankfully he hasn't succeeded but that doesn't mean he won't try until he gets what he wants.

I'm scared that, that day is right around the corner.
