I wasn't too young to have an overactive mind and thoughts flowing through like a slide show, but I needed to let it all out. It was suffocating and I was choking on unspoken words, hidden feelings and masked emotions. 

Stained sheets became my therapy. And they were my therapist. 

Just a healthy brain, a blank sheet and ink to make the stains.

Valerie's crippling illness leaves her hospitalised, bored out of her mind, dreaming of how she just wants to be a normal teenager. Although her thoughts are constantly intruded by someone. The boy. She was intrigued by him, he visited everyday at the same time, 2:47pm. She wanted to know his story, why was he here? Is he visiting someone? Her curiosity overflowed her. Anyways, it didn't matter, for her illness was getting better and she could finally get back to school. Sophomore year. Gosh. She could finally be a normal teenager. Then she saw "him" in the school hallways. The boy. Although he seemed different, less warm, more cold. It was like he put up a façade and barricaded his true self.
