This is a story about Daryl and my original character Ellen. You'll find out how their relationship developed in flashbacks, while we discover how this apocalypse continues with their lives at stake.
Ellen had been through hell over the past year, everyone was gone now, it was just her and Daryl. She couldn't tell who was alive or who had managed to escape, but they were about to find out.
There will be chapters from different pov's. Mainly Daryl and Ellen. This one starts with Ellen.

I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most.
