Tyler's your typical artist in every way; he has a passion for pastels and could spend hours in an art museum. He started drawing from a young age and was phenomenal from birth. The only difference between him and all the other art students in his class is that he had cancer. He had leukemia to be exact.
Josh just so happened to be his art professor. He was always very pleased by Mr. Joseph's work but often criticized him for missing class so often. Sometimes, the boy would disappear for days at a time with no explanation, but he was always excused. Josh had no idea what was going on with the younger boy, but he was determined to get to the bottom of it. What happens when he finds out his favourite student is dying?

Tyler was sad. He was hurt, confused, angry, and scared, too, but most of all, he was sad. He didn't know if it was because he had been stuck in the same town for his entire life or it it was something a bit more serious, but that little uncertainty didn't stop him from applying to colleges all throughout the country and going to the one the furthest away from where he grew up. It wasn't the best choice he had made in his life, but suddenly there's this kid that shows up who dyes his hair a different color almost every month, and maybe, just maybe, he's the cure to Tyler's, well, whatever it is. This is a story written as if Jenna and Tyler wrote it. As if it was true events that accured in their lives. Disclaimer: it mentions self harm, and sexual harassment.
