Mackenzie Elliot has been dancing since she was 2. So when she started at a new studio she thought that she would be able to fit in. Instead she found five new dancers that she doesn't get along with. Chloe Duncan, who thinks she rules the world, especially dance studio, Hailey Abbott and Ellie Coleman, who don't know which way to go and two boys, Carson Reed and Skylar Dean, who are head over heels in love with the same girl. These are all things that Mackenzie that doesn't want to deal with. Then with a friend group that is splitting apart the school year is not going to easy.

"What's your problem?" He asks darkly. "What's your problem?" I spit back. "Why do you keep following me?" He hisses. "I don't follow you!" I shout back. "Then how come where ever I go you end up going or being there?" He questions in a raised voice. "Its a coincidence." I say back in the same tone. He then moves forward towards me, and I take a step back but my back hits the brick wall. He puts his arms up his palms against the wall caging me in looking into my eyes. I won't look at him though, I look to the ground scared. "Just leave me alone...stay away." He whispers in my ear before he walks away to his car with his head down. -- When Dylan accidentally bumps into Mason in school things change. Dylan isn't scared away from him, or the rumors about him. She wonders about him, and what is up with him. When Mason decides Dylan needs to stay away from him he can't seem to keep it that way. He has a weird need to protect her... From everything. Which means finding out about her past... Will he soften up around her, or keep is bad boy dangerous ways? What happened when his fighting life comes into his normal life? What will happen when they find out about Dylan? Will Mason be able to keep her safe? Or will his boss find a way to keep him fighting?
