He was mine. I was his. He was my first kiss. I was his. I was the first to break him. I was his downfall. 
  Well, at least I was in junior high. We were childhood sweethearts, so to speak. I dropped my lollipop in the sand one day at recess during kindergarten and he gave me his in return. Eight years this relationship, if you can even call it that, went on. I loved him, or at least I thought I did. That was, until one day, I realized I was bringing him down. He declined a full ride to a private high school because of me, so, I did the only thing I thought was right at the time. I kissed the daylights out of him then told him I never wanted to see him again. Pitiful, I know.
  Ten years later, I find myself graduating college with a long-term boyfriend at my side and nothing could tear me down, or so I thought. Then I saw him again.
