Emma's family moved to Gotham to join the circus. Things are going okay, until she catches Jerome killing his mom. When Jerome gets out of the asylum, he can't get her out of his head. And the crazy thing is, she can't get him out of hers.
I threw my mom's cut up, beaten, bloody body under a tarp on a wagon. I know people will eventually find it, but why would they suspect me? I turned around, startled to see Emma standing there with wide eyes.
