Unfortunately for Espen, when a unicorn-riding messenger knocks at his front door and gives him a piece of disturbing news, that's exactly what ends up befalling him. Through a series of conflicts and unlikely friendships, Espen is whisked into an alternate dimension where everything is not quite as it seems, and he is forced to take on a life of destiny and importance as he discovers that the kingdom has been sought after for years by a wickedly intelligent emperor. An emperor that he is now expected to defeat.
