Forever and Always

Alexa Michaels has loved Liam Salvatore for as long as she can remember. In the friend way of course. She could not remember a time without him in her life. They have been very best friends from the times they used to take baths together to being each other's freshman prom dates.

It was just so easy with Liam. A few weeks before the start of senior year though, Liam suddenly pulls back. He won't talk to her, and Alexa doesn't know what to do. She wants to give him space, but she doesn't know what to do without him and she doesn't know how he can either.

Through a series of emails, Alexa realizes what being alone truly feels like. But why is Liam distancing himself? And why does it hurt so badly? Why does it feel like she has lost a part of herself?
