The women are rebelling against the patriarchy, no one knows what's going on in the middle of what was formerly known as America, and rumors have spread that the Catalyst has appeared. After years of oppression, people have finally decided to strike back.

People who reacted to the gas that flooded all of our streets in order to change us, for better or worse? No one knows. They even went as far as forming the Justification to replace our current government. They basically did everything in their power to catch us. Although it didn't work very well. When a white male supremacist movement takes over and stages an international coup, Ellie Maisie and her friends are put in a training facility so they can adjust to this new society, sacrificing mental, emotional, and physical health. It becomes clear that gender inequality is an issue that won't easily go away, and she doesn't know how she will get out of this alive. This is my first novel, go easy on me, but I'm proud of it. In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again. Although the world appeared to be normal, one day changes occurred. The 'New Generation' was formed. Young children moving toward highschool started developing abilities. These abilities were the same or shared with gods and mythical creatures. For example one had the abilities of Zeus able to produce lightning, and so on. These were called the 'Irregulars', all sent to 'Sacred High', a highschool created specially for them. This however is not a normal school, as there are no adults around to lead anything. It is run by the students, mainly the Student Council, and forms a battle for survival, survival of the fittest. One day, the supervisors on the outside found something different ... An Irregular Among Irregulars, alias IAI. A young boy that was within the New Generation, yet had no abilities whatsoever. After the entry interview, the youth claimed: "I have no religion or beliefs but my own path." Due to this statement, this youth was titled "The Atheist', put on Sacred High between the rampant gods and myth wielders. Striving to aim for higher popularity ranks to ensure their safety, this was literally a battle to survive and become the strongest. The better your reputation, the less likely anyone would bother you. At the top stands the Student Council, possibly the most rotten out of the school, while at the bottom, the new IAI joins. Does this youth have no actual powers at all? Will the Student Council do something odd? What is the purpose of this school? Find out and explore Sacred High!

The biggest and the baddest fight in this tournament and barely make it out alive. She has to fight in this tournament and if she won she had her freedom back. If she lost she would loose her freedom once again. Victoria knows she can't pass up this opportunity up.
