Shae Foster is a 12 year old girl in the Pioneer days. When her family gets the fever she makes the choice to travel to Oregon on her own, until she finds a wagon train. She runs into some unexpected friends in unexpected places. During the trip she encounters many struggles and obstacles, with the help of her new friend, King. She also decides to dress for comfort instead of fashion after her family passes on. She often grieves but she builds up strength as she goes along, the journey to Oregon is full of adventure for her and King.All Rights Reserved
