Dit boek heeft een beetje een sprookjesachtige sfeer. Er zitten meerdere verhalen in vermengd, zoals die van Doornroosje en Sissi. Ik schrijf dit verhaal omdat ik net (ja, net!) wakker word van een droom die ik niet meer wil vergeten. Nu volgt de inleiding:
Elise doet mee aan een wedstrijd. Het is een soort prinsessenwedstrijd, en de prijs is om met de prins te trouwen. Elise was ingeschreven door haar zusje, Eleanor. Maar hoe hard ze ook haar best doet, een prinses zal ze nooit worden, en al helemaal niet de koningin van het land waar de prins over zal heersen.

Aimlessly, Donna was plodding sluggishly. The clock had hit the 4 am. She was in the search of peace and was wandering on countryside to find serenity. I mirrored this as I looked up at him, my own anger causing my shadows to whip around sharply. We stare at each other in the eyes, neither of us backing down as the other two shout at him trying to call him off. His shadows come dancing around him to meet mine in turn. A moment passes and it feels as though the shadows part to reveal an invisible string tying us together. Just as the mating bond snaps into place. For people who haven't read ACOTAR, read at your own risk, but fair warning you might be just a tad bit confused. ALSO... I will not be trashing any character, expect for assholes like Beron and his sons (expect for Eris). STORY DESCRIPTION: Gwyneth Berdara has spent her last year still not being able to leave that gods-damned library. She wants to leave, but every time she is about to reach the outside world, she freezes and goes back to Sangravah. She tells herself that she is safe, she is in Velaris, but nothing works. She feels as if she's still stuck in the same place from when she entered the library two years ago. One incident makes her leave the Night Court and into another court. How will she react? Azriel was there in Sangravah, but he had arrived too late. Ever since the incident, Azriel has been slipping farther and farther away from his family. He doesn't know why the incident had been eating away at him, it wasn't his first time failing at his job. Azriel finds shocking news that he must keep from Gwyn. The plot line derives somewhat from the initial description. P.S. : I do not own this art, I just made it as my cover!
