The world was destroyed 3000 years ago leave the last remaining humans in a waste land but the humans were able to build civilisation inside domes, the dome does many things but most important keeps out human like alien creatures that want nothing more but to eat humans. The main character Clare had studied the outside world since she was 14 and realised that life inside the dome was pretty dull but 2 years after she had a plan to see the outside world but things go terabyte wrong.

Running from our future
Centuries ago this was a great planet, now it's a husky shadow of its former beauty. Though the remnants of its former magic still linger it was destroyed by power hungry scientists. More tests to make more technology to go further, faster more this more that. Boom It all went up in flames, radiation spilled out into South America from the global power station in Brazil. The nuclear plant 15 times that of Chernobyl blew its top. The initial explosion flattened Brazil and the shockwaves were felt from the Florida keys. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles. Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind? The glass domes provide some sense of security, but they are only for the rich who can afford the astronomical price of providing precious clean air to a whole city. Nym and her family live outside the dome when the disease breaks out. Spreading through the Minor City Shelter and then to Shelter's around other cities, nothing seems capable of stopping it. People are going mad and dying off like flies. There's no cure they can find. They only know one thing. Their last precious resource is going to be the death of them. Story Of Dome
This is a prequel to my other story known as Futuristic world (Furry x human). I HIGHLY recommend reading that story first before this one, otherwise this story will make zero sense at all. Also if you don't really like the first story, then you probably won't care about this one anyways. This story will follow Dome and his backstory before he met Y/N in Futuristic world. This way you can get to know Dome from my original story a little bit more. I do not own any of the art used in this story. credit goes to the original and talented artist. The art used for Dome (The protogen in the book cover) was created by GoldApollo. He has more protogen art, and I highly checking out some of his art. ________________________________________ Dome... He is a simple protogen with a sense of humor. He's a man with his own flaws, just like everyone else, but he has a weird way of seeing the positive of everything... Well... Not everything. Dome's bestie known as Conner lost his wife and reluctantly started taking therapy after Dome, the good friend that he is, forced him to. Conner makes small improvements overtime... Until one day where the downward spiral for both Conner and Dome begins. Conner loses his last bit of family left.. his daughter.. to a mysterious killer who manages to hide his trace. Conner, now seeking any kind of closure, loses his mind. Finally reaching a breaking point and blaming Dome for everything. Threatening to kill him for what he had done. Dome, despite feeling guilty, doesn't give up hope. He will do what the police couldn't, and find whoever killed the daughter of who used to be his best friend, but is now hunting him all around Night Glow City, and never stopping until Dome is dead. Dome has to get to the bottom of this murder mystery himself... But little does know what he will go through, or the other downward spiral that he will find himself going down afterward. _______________________________________
