Caleb Simmons and Sara Hyland aren't from opposite worlds. Differences are omnipresent, but between two people, there always will be. Different schools, different families, different financial statuses. 

Caleb, an 18-year-old with a parents in the midst of a silent divorce, at the lower of end of the financial spectrum. Sara, an 18-year-old with loving parents, living in luxury, but likeable. 

But there a similarities. After Benjamin Wing commits suicide, rips in the fabric begin to appear. In the summer after Year 12 finishes, and a trip down to Benjamin's favourite spot, Caleb and Sara find themselves drawn closer. Through the numbness of grief, and the confusion of loss, Sara and Caleb find one another while finding themselves.
