This is a Disney Descendants story as what the title stated.
What if Mal liked Ben the very first time she saw him? What if it was love at first sight? What if Mal and Ben immediately became Very good friends? Like Best friends forever? What if Mal didn't used the love potion to Ben? And used the old-fashioned way? What if Mal told Ben 'I like you'? What if Mal didn't know about Ben and Aubrey? What if Mal thought Ben was starting to have feelings for her? What if Ben told Mal about Aubrey like it wasn't a big deal? What if Ben was too blinded to love Mal because of Aubrey? What if Aubrey was the one who used the 'love potion'?
Mal didn't like that. She has been experiencing that since she was at the Isle of the Lost. No one loved her (except for her friends). She wants a real love.
Now she's gonna get what's hers. She's gonna get Ben away from Aubrey. But she needs help. A help not from Evie nor Jay nor Carlos. She needs help from Auradon. From some 'friends'. Friends that also hate Aubrey, for they thought she was good and anything but they were wrong. These friends will help Mal get Ben.
But first she must face some challenges and the TRUTH.

Genevieve Gothel is the daughter of Mother Gothel, she lives on the Isle of the Lost with her four best friends: Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos. The five of them, including their parents, live in this small house/apartment/shack. Whatever you want to call it. Genevieve is the Isle of the Lost's it girl, she's captivating, she's the master of manipulation and the queen of "almost", and a dark magic protégé. Her mother runs a secret apothecary where it's in a shadowy place for teens to go for potions for one day when they get released from the island, she also is a manipulative matron. Genevieve only helps run the shop. She definitely flirts with many villain boys but never let herself feel real emotions for them...until Ben Florian came along. When Auradon Prep asked for her and her other four friends to start going to school she couldn't care less. The only thing she cared about was making her mother proud which would've worked if she got the fairy godmother's wand to open the barrier. When her and her friends came up with a plan of using Ben to get to the wand, they picked Genevieve since she's the one most likely to captivate him and can really make it work. Along the way, she may or may have not started to actually catch feelings. ONLY DESCENDANTS 1Complete

Once upon a time, in a kingdom known as Auradon, lived a young prince. He was one of the most kind and caring princes the kingdom ever had. He cared about everyone, even the ones no one thought were actually worth caring for. One day, the month before his coronation, he made his first proclamation. He wanted to give the children of the villains his father had abandoned to the isle of the lost, an equal chance in Auradon. And so he invited four villain kids to Auradon Prep. Mal, daughter of Maleficent; Jay, son of Jafar; Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil; and Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen. Most people thought they would be just like their parents; evil, vicious and cruel. But Ben was convinced that even those who were raised to be villains had a good heart. And he wasn't wrong about that. It came with some struggles, but they found their place in Auradon too. After his coronation he decided that more kids had to come over, as the first four proved that they could live just like other Auradoniens in the kingdom, amongst the other citizens. He didn't really know them well personally, but only heard good stories about them and that was proof enough for him. It sounds like this was a happily ever after, but our story is only beginning now... *I do not own any of these characters*Complete

Set right after the events of "The Rotten Love Story" After weeks of battling her emotions Mal finally told Carlos she liked him and Carlos liked her as well. The newly Rotten Couple didn't have much time to be happy though as Maleficent has ordered for Mal, Jay, Evie, and Carlos to go to Auradon Prep to steal Fairy Godmothers magic wand. Now that wasn't the problem in thier way. The problem was the soon to be King and his soon to be King. Ben and Audrey. After Mal found out that there would be a coronation and that's where the wand would be she decides that she needs to pretend to like Ben to get the wand. But what happens when Carlos begins to fall for Audrey while Mal is pretending to be happy with Ben? While all of that's going on Mals still bothered and controlled by one thing. Ever since Uma killed Harry she has had problems controlling her anger. Will her anger have an effect on anything in her life? You will have to read to find out!! I really love descendants, so I thought, hey, why not write more fanfiction? Okay, let's focus. This book is unrelated to 《Mal & Ben》, and it'll be a fanfiction that focuses on......Mal and Harry! Worry not, there'll still be some bits of Bal, to end a few of the things that are still between them. A simple brief-through of the story: when it gets to the part they travel to an alternate realm, do remember that they are still whoever they were in Auradon, and not their real life identities. (e.g. Mal does not become Dove Cameron etc.) But it means that evil is brewing......😏😈 This story shall take place at the start of Cotillion, I hope y'all will enjoy it!Complete
