It had been many years since the Rocket incident which had occurred in Johto 30 years ago. In recent years, crime rates had fallen to an all time low and the remaining members of Team Rocket gone. The powerful and mighty Legendary pokemon had all but disappeared without a trace. However, peace was not to last. Strange incidences have been sighted all over Johto, from freak storms to abnormal weather behavior. To make matters worse, new incidences of crimes by a mysterious organisation has surfaced in Johto again. Professor Maple of Maple and Co. Laboratories had been kidnapped. 

It is up to his only daughter, Emma, and her childhood friend Isaac to find out what this new organisation is up to and, if needed, use all their power to stop them. However, being two new trainers in the world of pokemon, they both have no idea what to expect. Do they really have what it takes to stop this organisation? Their first stop - Port of Olivine. Nyx Harmonia is their security guard. Mercury Harmonia is their photographer. The latter two, however, have something else in mind: finding Nyx's great-grandfather Volo and Mercury's father Horace, who disappeared through an Ultra Wormhole 30 years ago. If Volo and Horace are on Mars, that means the people who kidnapped them also are. They may well have found fellow villains Team Genesis, who also disappeared in search of Mars many years ago... and then there are the members of the criminal syndicates Cipher and Team Plasma who somehow made it onto the ship. A - The book crosses over with @Bossun24 's Pokemon Leaf Chronicles for 6 chapters. The crossover had been planned 1 year prior to its publishing. Q - Why is Leaf replaced by Lyra? A - Leaf is not replaced by Lyra, both characters are different in their own ways. I wanted to get Leaf out of the picture for a different kind of character growth. Lyra is Red's cousin sister, with Red being an experienced trainer, he acts like a mentor to her. Q - So time travel happens in this one? A - It does, and its fun how it plays out. Q - Who is this Masked Man? There was a masked man in the manga too. A - While the idea was original, a mystery man who structures every Team Rocket plan and assists Giovanni. I was shocked to see that the manga had someone named "Masked Man" as well. Q - Who is this Masked Man? And why is he important? A - A mystery man controlling every aspect of a criminal organisation and has been the true mastermind of Giovanni's every plan? Sounds pretty important to me. As for his identity, I was very unsure if I was ever going to reveal it as it was not very important at first until the second book was coming to an end.
