It's funny how much pain is caused by one word. Heartbreak. Alex knows this well, as she drifts around Hogwarts, distancing herself from all her friends, including Sky, her crush, and Myusa, her best friend who has a crush on him.
As Head girl, Quidditch captain, and a seventh year, she has a lot on her shoulders, without the extra effort needed to keep her walls up. For her, her life is already complicated, not to mention a constant struggle against insecurities and self doubt underneath the facade of being perfect.
But what happens when she loses her memory, and wakes up from a coma, having forgotten most of those she once loved, including Sky? Her priorities change, as do her ideas of life, and she tries to truly live. She knows she was broken before, that she was hurting deep inside, but she wants to know why, and fix herself properly from within.
Her journey with her friends on the road to self discovery takes her to places she'd forgotten, and parts of herself that's she'd lost in the thunderstorms of despair she once faced.
Secrets get unraveled, memories surface, and new people are met along the way to discovering the biggest secret of all:
