Trepidation

Many years ago, around 2100 A.D., some kind of beast evolved and drove out almost everyone on the North American continent. It got to the point that the people were forced to come together, and they decided to build some kind of sanctuary - they would call it the Academy. Today, it is what protects us from the beasts on the outside. Today, it is the only thing that stands between us and the unknown. And tomorrow, I will have to face what has put fear into the hearts of all for hundreds of years.
