This is my entry for The Christmas Contest 2016. Day 365 without her. Christmas means something different to everyone. To the Anderson family it means the year anniversary of their eldest daughters death. It means the day when their hearts cave in on themselves and all joy and hope is extinguished. Except for the youngest family member, Sylvie, who shows that Christmas can bring light even in the darkest of times. There is always hope to be found.

For Larry Fresser and Laurent Bourgeois, Christmas in New York was always magical, and as two families of different faiths celebrate the season with family, faith, and especially food, not only does love find it's light, but family comes to mean something different entirely.
