I went into shock the day my dad "sold me" to his boss, Evan Hunter. He had cared enough to "buy me" when my dad tried selling me to someone else as collateral on money he owed.Evan had placed me in his home, provided for me, enrolled me in one of the most prestigious high schools in the city, and then proceeded to ignore my very existence. I am in love with him, but why would someone like Evan want someone like me? -Gabrielle

I bought Gabrielle, and it was both the best and worst decision of my life. She's 17 with a bright future ahead of her, and I'm a hardened 25 year old with a chip on my shoulder who fought my way to success from nothing. I need to protect Gabrielle, it just grinds at me that the person she needs protected from is me. -Evan
