Ivain's an angel that has fallen from the heavens to help a human in need. She is sent to help Isabel Van Monroe who attempted suicide three times. Unfamiliar with the pain filled life of the humans, Ivain is suppose to help a struggling teenager in the twenty-first century. In the human world Ivain is only meant seen by Isabel, But what happens when Isabel's brother Sean Van Monroe can also see her? Sean is very interested in her wings. Unlike normal angels who have beautiful white wings, she has enchanting black wings. Sean is also trying to figure out why a angel would be watching over his sister, of all people.
Sean and Ivain spend sometime together while Isabel is in school. Harmless right? But what happens when they falls head over heals with each other? Is Ivain willing to give up her wings and halo? Or continue her role as a angel in heartbreak?
