Lottie Cole is a British girl on her way to study at one of the best colleges in America. After being recruited through swimming she was given the opportunity of a life time when she could study under a scholarship 1000's of miles away from home. Having been previously been focused on swimming and surrounded by people who grew up just like her in a 'normal' school and town, being thrown in at the deep end she struggles to navigate through boys, social status, teammates, parties and friends she realises maybe she made a mistake thinking she had gotten so lucky to receive a place at the college at all.

Soon they were playing with Cupid's arrows trying to set up the unlikeliest couple imaginable, but what they seemed to have forgotten was Fate's wierd sense of humor and so it turned out while they were playing with Cupid's Arrows, he was aiming them at these two instead.
