The life of a ghoul...usually isn't very pleasant. No matter what we do, we end up encountering danger and death at some point. But we still try to avoid it. Why? Because most of us still want the chance to live the life of a human, even it's temporary.

Unfortunately, it's going to take a lot just to make that happen.

Tragedy strikes a young ghoul and they resort to living the rest of their life without ever really thinking of the incident. The moment they run into a familiar face, things start to change and more things begin to take place. But it's these sequence of events that lead to the discovery of everything they never wanted know.

Kaneki Ken has had a rough childhood, but always had a supporting sister and a great mother who worked hard to giver her children a better life. At the age of 5 his father died. At the age of 10 his mother died and lost his sister while in the park. During his teen years, his aunt never gave him love and treated him very poorly. Now at the age of 19, his life changed from human to Ghoul. Kaneki has joined Agori and now does the one thing that he hates the most. He kills. During a completed mission, walking home from a disaster, Kaneki runs into a girl that was a year younger than him and has similar traits that he use to have when he was a human. Kaneki can't shake off the feeling that this girl looks very familiar to him. He wants to know who this teenage girl is. Kaneki feels that he's obligated to communicate with this girl and protect her from danger. He's feeling as if he was an overprotective brother. What Kaneki doesn't know is that this girl is his younger sister from many years ago. Will the two reunite and be happy family? Or will they battle to the death?
