"Then why do yo blow me off, and talk as though you do?" He questioned.
"Because you used to annoy the crap outta me, and it kinda felt weird to not to act that way. You flirted, I told you to shut up, I rolled my eyes, I walked away, whatever it was. it was kinda like a little game, a little bit that we did. But... not anymore." I said looking down. If he doesn't understand now, he's just stupid. Which I know he's not.

We'll be haunted by the darkness that is our own shadow, but in every shadow there's a light." He answered, as if the simplest thing in the world. I only stared at him with a dropped jaw. That was out of this world. Especially coming from Jonah. "When does it get better?" I mumbled. "It doesn't. But to go through it with someone makes it a whole lot easier." He turned back to face me. We stared at each other for a while. He'd always occasionally look down at my lips, and I'd do the same to him. I broke it off and looked back up at the sky. -=- New York City. I had scrapped so many ideas (that I only really wrote a few chapters of) that when I was older enough to realize the story I had going so far sucked, I didn't want to scrap again, so I finished for that sake in a span of 3 years (and ended in 2014). A reflection. Do you like yours, love yours or hate yours? There's many people in this world who dislike theirs, not because of the physicality that they see in a mirror, but because they know what's lurking behind the eyes that stare. So much can be seen in yourself from your own pair of eyes, things that others don't seem to see. Do you know why that is? That's because no one knows you better than you know yourself. A pair of eyes could seem so kind, warm and innocent to the world, but only yourself could know the true darkness behind them. There's one person in this world who knows exactly what I'm talking about. He knows the infuriating, angering feeling of the painful suffering he experiences when his own eyes meet his reflection's. Deadly, severe, menacing: is what he sees. Everyone who looks into them simply see a bright pair of ocean eyes. Blue. That's all they see. But only himself knows he's drowning in the tidal waves of their deep ocean. And no one cares enough to notice, to help, or to save. Until her. She used to think fire was more murderous than ice. Little did she know, that would all change at first glance. She saw the eyes, she noticed their blue, she stared for a second too long, and now she knows that there's no going back. He'll claim her. ~If I take a step away from him, he takes a step closer to me.
