Kid Flash and the team : Young Justice Fan Fiction

My name is Mia Garcia, I am a 16 year old girl that is included in the "superhero" column I guess. I guess I am a skilled fighter also I can change my weapon (a steel rod) into a long chain that I can use kinda like a whip, I can also change it into more but I'll let you learn more about it in the story.
My father Henry Garcia was the one with the powers, that's how I got them but he didn't really use them much so I didn't really get the fighting skills from him.
My mother Selina (Kyle) Garcia on the other had was kind of an evil villain and kind of a good guy, So she is the one that taught me how to fight. She got out of the life when she got pregnant with me, she was known as Cat Women.
Neither of my parents had a good note with the "Light". So when you were 7 years old the "Light" came after my parents and killed them both.
I didn't have any other family so I went to foster care.
I studied different fighting skills and soon enough I was leaving the foster house at night fighting little crimes on the streets and also shoplifting stuff because how else am I supposed to get the stuff I want. I became Catgirl (just something to remind me of my mom). I wear a black hoodie with black leggings and a black hat. When I join the team that's when I start wearing something like my moms leather suit and my ears folded down to my face and became googles. I almost got got to tell you this I usually wear brown eye contacts to cover up the real color of my eyes.
Now to the story of how I joined The Team and met him.
