(Previously known as Breaking the Beast) Tyson knows he isn't perfect, but he doesn't think he deserves a summer stuck at the old holiday cabin with his dad's friend, Jack. After he gets kicked out of college and assigned probation, Tyson has to learn to deal with the man he once loathed and a cabin that is falling apart. As he and Jack update the cabin, they start back at a new beginning together. Will the two lose all they've rebuilt when a local woman is found dead on the cabin's property? Or is the foundation laid by Tyson and Jack strong enough to support the new and intense connection building between the two? It's a slow burn, but it does get spicy. VERY spicy.

Cade Stillwater has a lot to learn about the real world. The privileged rich boy gets caught up in the wrong mess, landing him in jail. His parents bail him out and, to avoid the public stink eye, exile him to their family lake for six months. He needs to learn his lesson, but how will he do that when all he can do is be angry in isolation? Enter Liam. Liam is a timid soul, though his appearance would say otherwise. When he joins Cade as a partner at the lake operation, the gears start to turn for Cade. He learns what it's like to be from the lower class and what scraping by really is. Cade and Liam form a bond unexplainable, where they realize they offer something they both need from each other: Someone to relate to.
