There's a girl that is a loner in school. Other girls talk and gossip about her because she was the prettiest girl in her middle school and all the boys would have a crush on her instead of the other girls, including her best friend. She accidently hurt the feelings of her best friend because her best friend's crush had a crush on her instead. Her best friend ignored her till that day . She promised to herself that she would choose to be lonely in highschool than to hurt others then suddenly, a transfer student changed her life..

Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
